This is me ofcourse... at Khadakwasla dam back waters in pune city....

Drinking water for the whole of pune city comes from this dam...

There were heavy rains this year.... and the dam was FULL for many many days...

usually there is water scarcity and people worry if water would be enough to last all year long...

but this time.. dam doors were let open for many days!!

I remember once ALL the doors were opened... it was a gorgeous site...
(i wish i had a water proof camera!! i could not even take my camera out.. it was raining too heavily!!)

Pune is my home town..... I was born in Ahmednagar Town. on.. 2nd nov 1981 A.D.

Pune is in western part of India.
